The Western New England University chapter of Alpha Mu Alpha National Honor Society welcomed seven students at the University's annual induction ceremony which took place on April 10.

The following students have been named to the Champlain College President's List for achieving a grade point average of 4.0 or higher in the Spring 2018 semester.

Lasell College held its 164th commencement on May 12, granting 398 Baccalaureate degrees and 125 Master's degrees, before an audience packed with family, friends, and members of the Lasell community on Taylor Field. Commencement speaker Donato Tramuto, president and founder of the nonprofit Health eVillages, shared with graduates his steps toward success with many stories from his own experiences growing up and becoming a corporate leader. The audience also heard messages from Lasell College President Michael B. Alexander, who addressed both undergraduate and graduate recipients. Alexander encouraged them to dream big and to embrace opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Approximately 1,183 students were eligible to walk in Coastal Carolina University's graduation exercises, held on campus at the HTC Student Recreation Center and Convocation Center in three separate ceremonies May 4-5.

Students who receive a term grade point average of 3.6 or higher while completing at least three courses for a conventional letter grade during the fall 2017 semester earn the Dean's Award with Distinction.
